The issue of sustainability is very close to our hearts. As a traditional family business, we think long-term and are committed to leaving future generations with an intact ecological, social and economic fabric. We strive to ensure that our company will continue to exist and be run sustainably in the fourth generation. Our aim is to achieve this in close cooperation with our suppliers and through a holistic approach to sustainability from cultivation of our raw materials to packaging, production and transport.As an internationally active company, we also feel it is our responsibility to implement the omnipresent issue of sustainability in all areas.

our commitment to sustainability is central to everything we do at Nagel Feed Ingredients. We recognize the importance of responsible sourcing and the environmental impact of feed production. To uphold this responsibility, we carefully select and develop our ingredients to support sustainable livestock farming.
By enhancing nutrient utilization and feed efficiency, our products help reduce overall feed consumption and minimize waste. This leads to lower greenhouse gas emissions and less environmental burden per unit of animal product. For example, our advanced coated minerals enable precise delivery and better absorption, reducing excess mineral runoff. Similarly, our enzyme and prebiotic solutions promote better digestion and animal health, contributing to more sustainable feed conversion.
We believe that sustainable animal nutrition is essential for the future of food production—optimizing resources while supporting healthy animals and ecosystems.
WHAT IS THE RSPO?
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative on sustainable palm oil. Members of RSPO, and participants in its activities come from many different backgrounds, including plantation companies, processors and traders, consumer goods manufacturers and retailers of palm oil products, financial institutions, environmental NGOs and social NGOs, from many countries that produce or use palm oil. The RSPO vision is to “transform the markets by making sustainable palm oil the norm".
